The show has thus far had great reviews, and if you go to the corner of Queen and University you'll see my name in big letters at the Campbell House corner post. People really enjoy the moose, the macros, the birds, the forestscapes, and the beach scenes. If you're in the area on Queen Street come on by, let the warm atmosphere of the gallery and my windows to the wild provide you with moments of intrigue and serenity, and insight into places you don't usually get to see in our own backyard.

Myself and another photographer enjoyed a show at Steamwhistle. My featured work included photography from the summer's travels to ecologically significant locations across Ontario which some of you have seen already, locations such as Long Point, Manitoulin Island, Quetico, and the Bruce Peninsula, however I am also included new work which was not previously released AND the show featured a 6x4 foot image, as shown on the invite, and printed at Toronto Image Works! Not only will there be great art from two accomplished artists, Cece works at the Toronto Star, but there will also be live music and great beer and good food too! This is one of the show's I'd be waiting for. I felt right at home on Queen Street at Gallery 1313, and the Steamwhistle show was a great success right in the heart of Toronto right by the Skydome and the CN Tower. I won't be having any more shows til I've returned from the East Coast. The show at Steamwhistle will always be one of my favourite shows.

The Art of Land Protection

I had been working closely with The Nature Conservancy of Canada, and they helped me obtain two shows. One at Steamwhistle, in Toronto in 2007. The other show; November 15th at Gallery 1313, 1313 Queen St in Toronto ( Opening Party Wednesday 15th at 7 PM).I had an opening party for an exhibition that showed for two weeks in the main gallery. There was a cash bar, and free catering and hors d'oevres too. I always wanted to have a show on Queen Street. Thank you to Phil, and to the NCC, and to everyone for coming out and having a good time.

Visions of Haida Gwaii

Set in the ancient and remote island of Haida Gwaii, this represents the journey of a traveller/photographer into the depths of nature. Cole's search for the beauty within ecologically sensitive areas has brought him to capture important images of wilderness, which are a gift from mother nature to this land. This journey of discovery hopes to offer us a window to remote places, and to enlighten and educate us about protecting the natural environment, so that our future generations get to enjoy it as we do today.
